Summertime (When the Livin' Is Easy)

I really did take that two-day hiatus from studying Etsy practices/statistics and did get back to it immediately thereafter. It was great to suspend it for 48 hours. But I am trying to approach this as if it were a job, so I am back at it, trying to make myself focus on one thing at a time and (usually) failing happily.

Some of my beach glass, pre-studio.
My Etsy shop, Fluff and Ruff Beach Glass Designs, has been at a stand-still lately, so I have been reading and researching in order to make sense of it. Luckily, I seem to be doing everything the way I should be. So far, so good then. I need to remember that a goal without a plan is just a wish.
While I build inventory in the mornings, I have been multi-tasking in my afternoons (as usual--you know this about me by now!) and the list--in no certain order--is as follows: (1) studying tutorials on soldering jewelry (2) shopping for a new queen-sized bed for our newly renovated upstairs (3) scouring thrift stores for gold textured frames that I can upcycle into decor for the new bedroom (4) practicing wire-wrap designs on a little Wig-Jig "thingy" (5) reading The Five Languages of Love (6) collecting ideas for literally everything on Google Images or Pinterest (7) trying to bake--I've never been really good at it and my idea of heaven is a recipe with five or fewer ingredients! (8) collecting more beach glass from my favorite Lake Huron location (9) delaying writing this update, not because I don't like to do this, but because I really felt that I have been especially fragmented these days--just a long loop of various activities--and couldn't find a coherent line of narrative to publish! Anyhoooooo . . .
In the name of being productive, then, here are some links to tutorials and articles I've tripped across recently and feel you, too, would find  them helpful in making your life just a little better:

http://www.food.com/recipe/rhubarb-crisp-93946    A great rhubarb crisp recipe!
http://www.rosyrevolver.blogspot.com/       I just love this blog! She's a very creative soul-with-attitude.
http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/shaun-ts-miracle-15-minute-workout      A fabulous, simple workout!
http://psimadethis.com/       I'm totally impressed with the common "cents" attitude of this site!! Easy tutorials about how to recreate Anthropologie designs, for instance, are so easy to follow.

Thanks for rolling with my fluff and ruff state of mind . . .             ~~Gigi
